Zeniah Nyree Freeland

Miss Zeniah Nyree Freeland, 18, of Clarksville, VA entered eternal rest on Saturday, October 5, 2019. Miss Freeland was born in Calvert County, MD on October 9, 2000 to Reco O. and Ejyree Hawkins Freeland. She was a 2019 graduate of Bluestone High School in Skipwith, VA where she was fluent in Spanish, and enjoyed Greek Mythology, reading, her music and TV shows, and hanging with her friends. Miss Freeland was preceded in death by her paternal grandfather, Oliver Freeland, and maternal grandfather, Alphonso Hawkins. Cherishing her memories are her parents, Reco Oliver Freeland of Lusby, MD and Ejyree Hawkins Freeland of Clarksville, VA; stepfather, Timothy Simmons of Clarksville, VA; two sisters, Zakira Y. Freeland and Zamier A. Simmons of Clarksville, VA; paternal grandmother, Shirley Smith of Forestville, MD; maternal grandmother, Louise E. Logan-Stepney of St. Leonard, MD, six aunts, six uncles, and a vast number of other loving relatives and caring friends. Funeral services for Miss Zeniah Nyree Freeland will be conducted 2:00 P.M. Saturday, October 12, 2019 at the chapel of C. H. Harris Funeral Home, Buffalo Junction, VA with District Elder Kenyatta Evans officiating. Interment will be private. Public viewing for family and friends will be held on Friday from 10:00 A.M. until 6:00 P.M. Arrangements are by C. H. Harris Funeral Home and Cremation Service.
