Yvonne Derclo Reed

Miss Yvonne Derclo Reed, 66 of Buffalo Junction, VA died Friday, January 21, 2022 at her residence. Miss Reed was born in Granville County, NC May 23, 1955 to the late Lauder and Ruth R. Hicks. She attended the schools of Granville County, NC. She was previously employed by Russell Stover Candies for many years. In addition to her parents, Miss Reed was preceded in death by a sister, Bessie Grasty and two brothers, Frankie and Daryl Reed. She leaves to cherish her memory three children, Gary Reed (Brenda) of Clarksville, VA, Cora Reed of Buffalo Junction, VA and Tony Reed (Keisha) of Oxford, NC, numerous grandchildren and great grandchildren; two brothers, Wallace Hicks of Clarksville, VA and Eddie Reed (Wanda) of Arlington, VA; one sister, Judy Reed (Otis) of Buffalo Junction, VA and a vast number of other loving relatives and caring friends. A memorial service will be conducted 2:00 PM Saturday, January 29, 2022 at the chapel of C.H. Harris Funeral Home with Rev. Andy Hargrove, officiating. Seating will be limited to 50 people.
