Yule Joy Ellis

Mrs. Yule Joy Ellis, 72, of Chase City Virginia, entered eternal rest Saturday January 23rd, 2010 at her residence. Mrs. Ellis was born in Newark, NJ to the late Mary Elizabeth Bell and Charles Bell on December 25, 1937.  She was the seventh of eight children. She attended Lincoln Elementary school in East Orange NJ.  Mrs. Ellis worked at the Orange Memorial/Orthopedic Hospital for many years, relocating to Chase City in 2002.  In addition to her parents she was preceded in death by her husband of 48 years Charles Ellis, her siblings; Walter Bell, Marietta Bell, Rebecca Louise Bell, Eugene Bell, and Lois Bell.  Cherishing her memories are a brother and sister-in-law, Abraham and Catherine Bell, a host of nieces and nephews, grandnieces and nephews, and a vast number of other loving relatives and caring friends. A memorial service for Mrs. Yule Joy Ellis will be held in New Jersey at a later date. Arrangements are by Giles-Harris Funeral Home and Cremation Service, Chase City, VA.
