Mr. Wilson Mason, 69, of Clarksville, VA entered eternal rest on Thursday, March 3, 2022 at his residence. Mr. Mason was born in Mecklenburg County, VA on August 15, 1952 to the late William Robert Mason, Sr. and Mary Estelle Brooks. He was a member of Antioch United Church of Christ, and was a 1971 graduate of Bluestone Senior High School in Skipwith, VA. Mr. Mason furthered his education at Southside Virginia Community College, earning a degree in Diesel Engine Mechanics. Mr. Mason was formerly employed by Burlington Industries with over 20 years of service. He was a United States Marine Corps veteran, and in his spare time enjoyed basketball, volleyball, baseball, and anything his children took interest in. In addition to his parents, Mr. Mason was preceded in death by three brothers, Southall, Edward and James Thomas Mason, and a sister, Mary Ann Cole. He leaves to cherish his loving memory his wife, Mary Jefferson Mason of Clarksville, VA; two sons, Marcus Mason (Carla) and Patrick Mason (Dian) both of Charlotte, NC; six grandchildren; one brother, William R. Mason, Jr. of Boydton, VA; six sisters-in-law, five brothers-in-law, and a vast number of other loving relatives and caring friends. Funeral services for Mr. Wilson Mason will be conducted 1:00 P.M. Friday, March 11, 2022 at Woodsworth Baptist Church, Henderson, NC with Rev. Glendora Hargrove officiating. Burial will follow in the church cemetery. Public viewing for family and friends will be held on Thursday from 2:00 P.M. until 6:00 P.M. Masks are required for all viewings and services. Arrangements are by C. H. Harris Funeral Home and Cremation Service, Clarksville, VA.
