Willis Henry Staten

Mr. Willis Henry Staten, 60, of Buffalo Junction, VA entered eternal rest on Monday, August 2, 2021 at his residence. Mr. Staten was born in Charlotte County, VA on November 17, 1960 to the late Earnest Robertson and Marie Dailey. He attended Randolph Henry High School in Charlotte Court House, VA, and worked in logging as a skidder operator. He enjoyed playing softball, basketball, cards, fishing, and hanging out with his friends. In addition to his parents, Mr. Staten was preceded in death by a brother, Charles Staten. He leaves to cherish his memory his wife, Dianne Thompson Staten of Buffalo Junction, VA; three sons, Jeffrey A. Staten of Farmville, VA, Damon A. Staten of Chase City, VA and Michael A. Staten of Buffalo Junction, VA; four daughters, Michelle Staten and Alexis Lewis both of Roanoke, VA, Theresa A. Thompson of Chase City, VA and Demetria L. Thompson of Henderson, NC; fifteen grandchildren, thre great-grandchildren; three brothers, George Staten of Chesterfield, VA, Donnie Staten (Tracey) of Boydton, VA and Ronnie Staten of Fredericksburg, VA; sister, Etta McCargo of Red Oak, VA, and a vast number of other loving relatives and caring friends. A memorial service with limited seating for Mr. Willis Henry Staten will be conducted 2:00 P.M. Wednesday, August 11, 2021 at the chapel of C. H. Harris Funeral Home, Buffalo Junction, VA with Rev. Linda Goode officiating. A mask will be required for all services. Arrangements are by C. H. Harris Funeral Home and Cremation Service, Clarksville, VA.
