Willie Lee Ransom Jr.

Mr. Willie Lee Ransom, Jr., 85, of Clarksville, VA entered eternal rest Sunday, January 20, 2008 at his residence.Mr. Ransom was born in Mecklenburg County, VA August 18, 1922 to the late Willie Sr. and Bettie Brim Ransom. He was a member of Mt. Ararat Baptist Church, Clarksville, VA and was educated in the Mecklenburg County Public Schools. He was a former employee of Truck Dressing, Buffalo, NY. He was preceded in death by his wife, Mary Ransom, two brothers and five sisters.Cherishing his memories are two children, Mary and Willie; two brothers, Elenzer and Clarence Ransom both of Buffalo, NY; two devoted nieces, Estelle V. Smith and Evelyn V. Sconion; a devoted nephew, Floyd S. Venable and a vast number of other loving relatives and caring friends.Funeral services for Mr. Willie Lee Ransom, Jr. will be conducted 1:00 P.M. Saturday, January 26, 2008 at C.H. Harris Funeral Home Chapel, Clarksville, VA with Minister Tyrone Small officiating. Burial will follow in Mount Ararat Baptist Church Cemetery.Arrangements a re by C.H.
