William T. Rawlings

Mr. William T. Rawlings, 57, of Chase City, VA entered into eternal rest Wednesday, Sept. 13, 2006 at Halifax Regional Hospital, South Boston, VA. Mr. Rawlings was born in Charlotte County, VA June 4, 1949 to the late John and Cora Rawlings. He attended the schools of Charlotte County, VA and was a member of First Baptist Church, Wylliesburg, VA. Mr. Rawlings was a dedicated employee of Morgan Lumber Company for 36 years. Cherishing his memories is his wife, Mrs. Hazel L. Rawlings of Chase City, VA; six daughters, Peggy Alexander, Alberta, VA, Ethel Johnson, Jessica Rawlings, Valerie Rawlings, Terri Rawlings and Sherri Rawlings all of Chase City, VA; one son, Thomas L. Rawlings of Chase City, VA; twelve grandchildren; two sisters, Sarah Elam of Chase City, VA and Nancy Rawlings of Fort Mitchell, VA; two aunts, Hazel Mosley and Estelle Boyd; one uncle, Clyde Boyd; two sons-in-law, Gerald Johnson and Toni Alexander; one sister-in-law, Sally Mosley; two brother-in-law Daniel Elam and Litell Mosley and a vast number of other loving relatives and caring friends. Funeral services for Mr. William T. Rawlings will be conducted 2:30 P.M. Sunday, September 17, 2006 at First Baptist Church, Wylliesburg, VA with Rev. Opie Terrell, officiating.
