William Mckinley Evans

Mr. William McKinley Evans, 67, of Chase City, VA entered eternal rest Wednesday, August 8, 2018 at Sentara Halifax Regional Hospital, South Boston, VA. Mr. Evans was born in Boydton, VA May 11, 1951 to the late Thomas and Della Evans. He attended the schools of Mecklenburg County, VA and was a member of Shiloh Baptist Church, Boydton, VA. Mr. Evans was a retiree of AdvancePierre Foods in Ohio. In addition to his parents, he was preceded in death by two sisters, Fannie Harris and Martha Hayes; two brothers, Henry and Charles Evans. Cherishing his memories are his wife, Warnettia Green-Evans; one brother, George Evans (Helen) of Boydton, VA; two sisters, Edna Gray of Loraine, OH and Alice B. Logan of Boydton, VA; and a vast number of other loving relatives and caring friends. Funeral services for Mr. William McKinley Evans will be conducted 1:00 PM Wednesday, August 15, 2018 at Shiloh Baptist Church, Boydton, VA with Rev. Tyrone Craighead, officiating. Burial will follow in the church cemetery. Public viewing for family and friends will be held Tuesday from 10:00 AM until 7:00 PM at the funeral home. Arrangements are by C. H. Harris Funeral Home and Cremation Service, Clarksville, VA.
