William Henry Burwell

Mr. William Henry Burwell, 59, of Clarksville, VA entered eternal rest on Monday, April 10, 2017 at Sentara Halifax Regional Hospital, South Boston, VA. Mr. Burwell was born in Mecklenburg County, VA on November 6, 1957 to the late Kenneth and Jennie Small Burwell. He attended the public schools of Mecklenburg County, VA and was a member of Cedar Grove Baptist Church #2, Clarksville, VA. Mr. Burwell was a former security guard. In addition to his parents, he was preceded in death by his eldest sister, Eva Bonds. Cherishing his memories are four sisters, Julia Long of Andover, NJ, Nadine White of Richmond, VA, Kenny Marie Jeanlouis and Dr. Priscillae Burwell both of Clarksville, VA, numerous nieces, nephews, great-nieces and great-nephews and a vast number of other loving relatives and caring friends. Funeral services for Mr. William Henry Burwell will be conducted 11:00 A.M., Tuesday, April 18, 2017 at Cedar Grove Baptist Church #2, Clarksville, VA with Rev. Cornelius Ogburn officiating. Burial will follow in the church cemetery. At the family’s request, there will be no public viewing. Arrangements are by C. H. Harris Funeral Home and Cremation Service, Clarksville, VA.
