William Chester Bullock, Jr.

Mr. William Chester Bullock, Jr., affectionately known as “Chess”, 57, of Buffalo Junction, VA entered eternal rest Sunday, September 13, 2015 at VCU/MCV Hospital in Richmond, Virginia. Mr. Bullock was born in Mecklenburg County, VA on November 29, 1957 late William C. Bullock, Sr. and Eloise Johnson Bullock. He received his education in the Mecklenburg County Public Schools and  was a member of Mount Zion Baptist Church, Clarksville, VA. He was formerly employed as a roofer for Nelson Roofing Company. Cherishing  his memories  are his  fiancé, Monique Covington of Buffalo Junction, VA; four daughters Tenesha Bullock of Halifax, VA, Shaunta Bullock of South Boston, VA,  Jonna Covington of Houston, TX and Tekeeria Mangum of Richmond, VA; three sons, Tyquan Mitchell, John Covington and Taejon Covington all of Buffalo Junction, VA; seven grandchildren; his mother, Eloise Bullock of Clarksville, VA; God-mother, Ada M. Lee of Bronx, NY; one brother, Mark Smith (Ebonie) of Clarksville, VA; six sisters, Phyllis and Janet Bullock of Clarksville, VA, Loretta Richardson (Calvin) and Joanne Hunt of Boydton, VA and Yolanda Nelson  (Doyle) and Sheila Smith of Clarksville, VA; one brother-in-law, one sister-in-law and a vast number of other loving relatives and caring friends. Funeral services for Mr. William Chester Bullock, Jr. will be conducted 1:00 P.M. Saturday, September 19, 2015 at Mount Zion Baptist Church, Clarksville, VA with Rev. Dr. Freddie L. Terry, Jr., officiating.  Burial will follow in the church cemetery.  Public viewing for family and friends will be held on Friday from 10:00 A.M. until 7:00 P.M. Arrangements are by C. H. Harris Funeral Home and Cremation Service.   Services  1:00 P.M.
