William Anthony Whiters

Mr. William Anthony Whiters (Rusty), 54, of Richmond, VA and formerly of Chase City, VA entered eternal rest Monday, May 15, 2017 at Chippenham Medical Center, Richmond, VA. Mr. Whiters was born in Philadelphia, PA, May 18, 1962 to the late James R. Whiters, Jr. and Mabel B. Ford Whiters. He was a graduate of Overbrook High School in Philadelphia, PA. Rusty was employed as a chef in the food services industry. Cherishing his memories are one son, William Whiters, Jr. of South Hill, VA; two brothers, Linwood Whiters (Rhonda) of Indianhead, MD, and James R. Whiters, III (Lydia) of Buffalo Junction, VA; one sister, Wanda A. Whiters-Russell (Hiram) of Arlington, VA; three aunts, two uncles, and a vast number of other loving relatives and caring friends. Funeral services for Mr. William Anthony Whiters will be conducted 1:00 P.M. Monday, May 22, 2017 at the chapel of Giles-Harris Funeral Home, Chase City, VA with Rev. Melvin J. Palmer, officiating. Burial will follow in Silone Memorial Garden, Chase City, VA. Public viewing will begin Monday from 10:00 AM until service time. Arrangements are by Giles-Harris Funeral Home and Cremation Service, Chase City, VA.
