William Alex Terry

Mr. William Alex Terry (Poncho), 53, of Nelson, VA passed away on Wednesday, February 9, 2022 at his residence. Mr. Terry was born in South Boston, VA March 20, 1968 to the late Alex William and Christine Lucille Terry. He attended Bluestone Senior High School, Skipwith, VA and was a member of Mount Ararat Baptist Church. Before becoming disabled he was employed as a dump truck driver. His hobbies included fishing, listening to music, driving, and laughing and joking with family and friends. In addition to his parents, William was preceded in death by a brother, Clarence Henry Fountain. Those left to cherish his precious memories are two daughters, Alexandria Terry of Louisburg, NC and Shanequa Terry of Atlanta, GA; one grandchild, brother, Junior Fountain; sister, Janis Terry of Bullock, NC and a vast number of other loving relatives and caring friends. A memorial service will conducted 1:00 P.M. Saturday, February 26, 2022 at Jeter Chapel Baptist Church Cemetery, South Boston, VA with Rev. George Bell, Jr. officiating. Arrangements are by C.H. Harris Funeral Home and Cremation Service, Clarksville, VA.
