Mr. Washington Jerome Boyd, 26, of Chase City, VA entered eternal rest Thursday, Nov. 15, 2007 at Community Memorial Healthcenter, South Hill, VA.Mr. Boyd was born December 16, 1980 to the late Wash Jerome Davis and Gracie Mae Boyd. He attended Mecklenburg County Public Schools and was a member of Shiloh Baptist Church, Boydton, VA.Cherishing his memories are two daughters, Aniya Madison Boyd of Chase City, VA and Nia Terry of Boydton, VA; his mother and step-father, Gracie Mae and James Logan of Boydton, VA, maternal grandmother, Ida Boyd of Chase City, VA; two sisters, Janet Davis of Maryland and Pamela Davis of Washington, DC; five aunts, Mary Boyd, Hattie Davis, Carolyn Davis, Emma Davis and Linda Ann Davis; four uncles, Robert Davis, Frank Davis, Isaac Davis Jr. and William Davis; two nieces and a vast number of other loving relatives and caring friends.Funeral services for Mr. Washington Jerome Boyd will be conducted 11:00 A.M. Tuesday, Nov. 20, 2007 at the chapel of Giles-Harris Funeral Home, Chase City, VA with Rev. Willie L. Carter Sr., officiating. Burial will follow in Shiloh Baptist Church Cemetery, Boydton, VA.Arrangements are by Giles-Harris Funeral Home and Cremation Service, 1304 North Main Street, Chase City, VA.
