Warren Lee Hardy

Mr. Warren Lee Hardy, 73, of Skipwith, VA entered eternal rest on Wednesday, February 5, 2025 at Bon Secours – Southern Virginia Medical Center, Emporia, VA.

Mr. Hardy, known as “Hard Rock”, was born in Mecklenburg County on  October 31, 1951 to the late Woodrow, Sr. and Mildred Gayles Hardy. He attended Thyne Elementary School, and was a member of Rocky Mount Baptist Church in Skipwith. Mr. Hardy enjoyed working outside.

In addition to his parents, he was preceded in death by his wife, Marlene Wright Hardy; a sister, Barbara White, and two brothers, Woodrow Hardy, Jr. and James Curtis Hardy.

He leaves to cherish his loving memory one brother, Melvin Hardy of Chase City, VA; two sisters, Nancy Hayes of Chase City, VA and Joyce Hardy of Clarksville, VA, and a host of nieces, nephews, cousins and friends.

A memorial service for Mr. Warren Lee Hardy will be conducted 12:00 Noon, Thursday, February 13, 2025 at the chapel of C. H. Harris Funeral Home, Buffalo Junction, VA with Rev. Dennis King officiating.
