Mrs. Vivian Small Royster, 82, of Bullock, NC entered eternal rest on Thursday, September 14, 2017 at her residence. Mrs. Royster was born in Mecklenburg County, Va on December 9, 1934 to the late James and Mattie Hargrove Small. She received her education in the Mecklenburg County, VA and Granville County, NC Public Schools, and was a member of Cedar Grove Baptist Church #2, Clarksville, VA where she served as a Deaconess and Missionary. Mrs. Royster was formerly employed by Russell Stover Candies, Inc., retiring after 29 years of service. Cherishing her memories are her husband of 64 years, Edgar Royster of Bullock, NC; two sons, Pastor Reginald Royster (Mary) of Oxford, NC and Minister Bernard Royster (Annette) of Stem, NC; one daughter, Trennis Jefferson (Connell) of Oxford, NC; four grandchildren, Brian, Bernard Jr., Sharnae and Miya;four sisters-in-law, Lucy Hargrove of Buffalo, NY, Zola Royster, Gladys Thornton both of Bullock, NC and Bettie Small of Oxford, NC, and a vast number of other loving relatives and caring friends. Funeral services for Mrs. Vivian Small Royster will be conducted 12:00 Noon, Monday, September 18, 2017 at Cedar Grove Baptist Church #2, Clarksville, VA with Rev. Cornelius Ogburn, officiating. Burial will follow in the church cemetery. Public viewing will be held on Sunday from 1:00 P. M. until 6:00 P.M. Arrangements are by C. H. Harris Funeral Home and Cremation Service, Clarksville, VA.
