Virginia Elizabeth Jackson

Mrs. Virginia Elizabeth Jackson, 47, of Drakes Branch, VA entered eternal rest Thursday, February 18, 2010 at her residence. Mrs. Jackson was born in Mecklenburg County, VA October 15, 1962 to Richard Lee Oliver and the late Dorothy Mae Jones. She attended the schools of Mecklenburg County, VA. Cherishing her memories are four children, Kacel Watson and Marcus Whitehead of Keysville, VA, Dominique Whitehead (Curtis) of Lacrosse, VA and Michael Whitehead (Tonya) of Lynchburg, VA; 14 grandchildren, her father, Richard Lee Oliver of Wylliesburg, VA; two sisters, Dorothy Jones (Michael) of Triangle, VA and Shirl Fowlkes (James)of Stafford, VA; five brothers, Richard Oliver (Shirley), Donnell Roberts and LaRoyal Roberts all of Chase City, VA, Derek Staten of Maryland, Sean Oliver of Red Oak, VA and a vast number of other loving relatives and caring friends. Funeral services for Mrs. Virginia Elizabeth Jackson will be conducted 2:00 P.M. Friday, February 26, 2010 at the chapel of Giles-Harris Funeral Home and Cremation Service, Chase City, VA with Rev. Hezekiah Hendricks, officiating. Burial will follow in Union Baptist Church Cemetery, Chase City, VA. Arrangements are by Giles-Harris Funeral Home and Cremation Service, Chase City, VA.
