Mr. Tyree Couch, 69, of Chase City, VA, entered into eternal rest Sunday, May 24, 2015 at Chase City Health and Rehabilitation Center. Mr. Couch was born in Farmville, VA September 28, 1945 to the late Roosevelt and Ruth Freeman Couch. He attended West End High School, Skipwith, VA and was a member of Concord Baptist Church, Chase City, VA. Mr. Couch was a truck driver for numerous years having been employed by Huss Inc. of Chase City, VA and DMX Enterprises of Richmond, VA. In addition to his parents, Mr. Couch was preceded in death by a brother, Earnest Couch. Cherishing his memories are his wife, Cynthia D. Couch of Chase City, VA; two children, Linda Couch of Grovetown, GA and Ray Couch (Regina) of Richmond, VA; three grandchildren, Maikel Couch, Ray Couch Jr. and Raven Stewart; one sister, Francis Lucy Faison of Baltimore, MD; one brother, Thomas E. Couch, Sr. of Chase City, VA; two brothers-in-law, Donald Steve Thompson, Jr. and Dennis Lee Thompson; two sisters-in-law, Diana Lynn Thompson and Kimberley Dawn Thompson and a vast number of other loving relatives and caring friends. Funeral services for Mr. Tyree Couch will be conducted 11:00 A.M. Wednesday, May 27, 2015 at the chapel of Giles-Harris Funeral Home and Cremation Service, Chase City, VA with Rev. Raleigh Bagley,III officiating. Interment will be private. Public viewing and family visitation will begin 10:00 A.M. Wednesday until service time.
