Troy Nelson Prophet

Mr. Troy Nelson Prophet, 47, of Clarksville, VA entered eternal rest on Monday, January 3, 2022 at his residence. Mr. Prophet was born in South Boston, VA on January 26, 1974 to the late Lillie Mae and George Earl Prophet, II. He was a graduate of Randolph Henry High School in Charlotte Court House, VA where he excelled in sports. Mr. Prophet attended Mossingford Baptist Church in Saxe, VA, and was formerly employed by Tate Lumber Company in Red Oak, VA. In addition to his parents, he was preceded in death by his wife, Latonia Andrea “Cookie” Prophet. He leaves to cherish his loving memory a daughter, Naire Prophet of Victoria, VA; five brothers, Roger Prophet (Tiffany Epps) of Clarksville, VA, Lyndon Prophet of Drakes Branch, VA, Bonnie Prophet (Sarah) of Drakes Branch, VA; Ronnie Jones (Mannie) of Drakes Branch and Arnold Jones of Keysville, VA; three sisters, Sarah Henry (Greg) of Clover, VA, Elizabeth Prophet of Keysville, VA and Annie Prophet-Palmer (Donald) of Scottsville, GA; two aunts, Anna Crawley and Charlotte Butler; an uncle, Joe Jones, four brothers-in-law; two sisters-n-law, and a vast number of other loving relatives and caring friends. Graveside services for Mr. Troy Nelson Prophet will be conducted 2:00 P.M. Tuesday, January 11, 2022 at Mossingford Baptist Church Cemetery, Saxe, VA with Rev. John Craighead officiating. Public viewing will be held on Monday from 2:00 P.M. until 6:00 P.M. Mask are required to be worn for all viewings and services. Arrangements are by C. H. Harris Funeral Home and Cremation Service.
