Tracey Zemoria Fowlkes

Miss Tracey Zemoria Fowlkes, 51, of Chase City entered eternal rest Monday December 28, 2020 at her residence. Miss Fowlkes was born in Richmond, VA October 22, 1969. She was a member of New Rehoboth Baptist Church, Keysville, VA, and was a former correctional officer at Nottoway Correctional Center. In her spare time, she enjoyed attending concerts, going to her grandson’s ball games and shopping. Miss Fowlkes was preceded in death by her adoptive mother, Queen Corene Hatcher and an aunt, Florence Keeling. She leaves to cherish her memory two sons, Damion and Marques Fowlkes both of Chase City, VA; two grandchildren, Elijah Fowlkes and Anthony Washington; her adoptive father, Edward “Bob” Fowlkes of Chase City, VA; birth mother, Charlene Crenshaw (Marshall) of Richmond, VA; two sisters, Chante Crenshaw of New Carrollton, MD and Kenda Crenshaw of Atlanta, GA; ; aunts, Earlene Palmer, Barbara Chavis, Celestine Williams, Sarah Fleming and Vernice Freeman; uncles, Winthy, Robert Lee and Marvin Hatcher, LeVander Neblet, and Eddie and Robert Sturdivant, and a vast number of other loving relatives and caring friends. Graveside services will be conducted 1:00 P.M. Saturday, January 2, 2021 at New Rehoboth Baptist Church Cemetery, Keysville, VA with Rev. John Craighead officiating. Public viewing will be held on Friday from 2 P.M. until 6 P.M. at the funeral home. Due to Covid-19 restrictions, a mask will be required for all viewings and services. We ask that you adhere to all guidelines, and practice social distancing. Arrangements are by Giles-Harris Funeral Home and Cremation Service, Chase City, VA.
