Thomas Willis Brummell

Mr. Thomas Willis Brummell, 63, of Oxford, NC and formerly of Washington, DC entered eternal rest Sunday, April 9, 2006 at Oxford Manor Nursing Home. Mr. Brummell was born in Mecklenburg County, VA November 18, 1942 to the late Augustus L. Sr. and Elnora Royster Brummell. Mr. Brummell was the owner/operator of Brummell Cab of Washington, DC and was a former United Insurance Company of America Insurance Agent. Cherishing his memories are two sisters, Hilda Lewis of Buffalo Junction, VA and Eleanor Terry of Naperville, IL; two brothers, Augustus Loring Brummell Jr. and James H. Brummell both of Clarksville, VA; two sisters-in-law, two brothers-in-law and a vast number of other loving relatives and caring friends. Funeral services for Mr. Thomas Willis Brummell will be conducted 2:00 P.M. Saturday, April 15, at Cedar Grove Baptist Church #2, Clarksville, VA with Rev. Cornelius Ogburn, officiating. Burial will follow in the church cemetery. The family will receive friends Friday evening from 7 until 8 P.M. at C.H. Harris Funeral Home. Email condolences to harrisfhc@verizon.net.
