Thomas Lee Watson

Mr. Thomas Lee Watson, 77, of Chase City, VA entered eternal rest Saturday, October 13, 2018 at Chase City Health and Rehab Center. Mr. Watson was born in Charlotte County, VA December 15, 1940 to the late Sam Mosley and Lillie Mayo. He attended the schools of Charlotte County, VA and at an early age joined Salem Baptist Church. He was a former employee of Lewis Tree Service. In addition to his parents, Mr. Watson was preceded in death by a brother, Emanuel Watson. Cherishing his memories are his wife, Dorothy Boyd Watson of Chase City, VA; three sons, Robert Watson and Terrell Jefferson of Chase City, VA and Darnell Jefferson of Clarksville, VA; three step-sons, Roy Lee Robinson and Elijah Robinson both of Chase City, VA and James Robinson of Warrenton, NC; one daughter, Tina Watson of Chase City, VA; one step-daughter, Yvonne Russell of Chase City, VA; nine grandchildren, five great-grandchildren; two sisters, Florence Staten and Ella Moore (Earl) of Wylliesburg, VA, one sister-in-law, two brothers-in-law, and a vast number of other loving relatives and caring friends. Funeral services for Mr. Thomas Lee Watson will be conducted 1:00 P.M. Friday, October 19, 2018 at the chapel of Giles-Harris Funeral Home, Chase City, VA with Rev. Franklin Watson II officiating. Burial will follow in Silone Memorial Garden, Chase City, VA. Public viewing for family and friends will be held on Thursday from 10:00 AM until 7:00 PM at the funeral home. Arrangements are by Giles-Harris Funeral Home and Cremation Service, Chase City, VA.
