Thomas Lee Dailey

Mr. Thomas Lee Dailey, 85 of Boydton, VA entered eternal rest Thursday, November 30, 2006 at his residence. Mr. Dailey was born in Skipwith, VA November 10, 1921 to the late Howard and Sallette Jackson Keene. He attended the schools of Mecklenburg County, VA, at an early age he joined Union Baptist Church in Whightman, VA and later moved his membership to North View Baptist Church, South Hill, VA. He was a farmer and a former employee of Monroe Tree Service, Chase City, VA. Mr. Daily was preceded in death by his wife Hancey Ella Dailey, one son, Clinton Lee Dailey, two daughters, Brenda Jean Dailey and Carol Jones and one grandson, Franklin Keith Moore. Cherishing his memories is one son, George Delton Dailey of Newark, NJ; 12 grandchildren, two devoted Marvin Dailey (Tammy) of Chase City, VA and Roger Dailey (Ethel) of Boydton, VA, 27 great-grandchildren, two sons-in-law, three daughters-in-law and a vast number of other loving relatives and caring friends.Funeral services for Mr. Thomas Lee Dailey will be conducted 11:00 A.M. Tuesday, December 5, 2006 at the chapel of Giles-Harris Funeral Home, Chase City, VA with Rev. Robert Faulcon, officiaitng. Burial will follow in North View Baptist Church Cemetery, South Hill, VA.Arrangements are by Giles-Harris Funeral Home and Cremation Service, 1304 North Main Street, Chase City, VA.
