Mr. Theeir Lewis Coleman, 63, of North Chesterfield, VA entered eternal rest on Thursday, February 23, 2023 at Beaufont Health and Rehabilitation Center, Richmond, VA.


Mr. Coleman was born in Chase City, VA on July 11, 1959 to the late Willie L. and Mary Julia Rainey Coleman. At an early age, he joined Greater Union Baptist Church, and after making Chesterfield County, VA his home, he became a member of First Baptist Church in Chesterfield. He was a graduate of Bluestone High School in Skipwith, VA. He attended Virginia Commonwealth University in Richmond and was a member of the Omega Psi Phi Fraternity, Inc. Mr. Coleman spent many years as a heavy equipment operator and an over the road truck driver. As a die-hard Dallas Cowboys fan, he loved watching football every Sunday. He enjoyed his time hunting with the Maidens Road Hunting Club, doing yard work, riding his motorcycle, and spending time with his grandchildren.


In addition to his parents, he was preceded in death by his brother, Rainer and sister, Audrey Coleman Anderson.


He leaves to cherish his loving memory his wife, Kathy; son, Jordan; daughter, Brittany; four grandchildren, William, Jada, London and Julia; two sisters, Loretta (James) and Mary; one aunt, Pearl Hardeman; daughter-in-law, Lita; his mother and father-in-law, Mildred and James Smith; brother-in-law, Kevin Smith; sister-in-law, Kelly Smith, and a vast number of other loving relatives and caring friends.


Funeral services for Mr. Theeir Lewis Coleman will be conducted 2:30 P.M. Saturday, March 4, 2023 at the chapel of Giles-Harris Funeral Home, Chase City, VA with Elder Kenyatta Evans, officiating. Burial will follow in Thyne Memorial Presbyterian Church Cemetery, Chase City, VA. Public viewing for family and friends will be held on Friday from 2:00 P.M. until 6:00 P.M.


Arrangements are by Giles-Harris Funeral Home and Cremation Service, Chase City, VA.
