Terrell Rashaun Smith

Mr. Terrell Rashaun Smith, 23, of Chase City, VA entered eternal rest Saturday, January 15, 2011 at Memorial Regional Hospital, Mechanicsville, VA. Mr. Smith was born in Halifax County, VA December 8, 1987 to Mark A. Hayes and Yvonne Smith. He was a 2006 graduate of Bluestone Senior High School, Skipwith, VA and a member of Greater Union Baptist Church, Chase City, VA. Cherishing his memories are his parents, Yvonne Smith of Kenbridge, VA and Mark  A. Hayes of Boydton, VA; one sister, Zikira M. Smith of Kenbridge, VA; paternal grandparents Novella Hayes of Boydton, VA and Willie B. Hayes of Newark, NJ, ten aunts, seven uncles and a vast number of other loving relatives and caring friends. Funeral services for Mr. Terrell Smith will be conducted 2:00 P.M. Friday, January 21, 2011 at Greater Union Baptist Church, Chase City, VA with Rev. Linda Goode, Officiating. Burial will follow in Thyne Memorial Presbyterian Church Cemetery. The family will receive friends Thursday evening from 6 until 7 P.M. at the funeral home. Arrangements are by Giles-Harris Funeral Home and Cremation Service, Chase City, VA.
