Miss Tasha Jonelle Roberts, 26 of the Palmer Springs Community of Boydton, VA entered eternal rest Friday, February 29, 2008 at her residence. Miss Roberts was born in South Boston, VA February 22, 1982 to Connell and Sherri Walker Roberts. She was a 2000 graduate of Bluestone Senior High School, Skipwith, VA and a member of New Hope Baptist Church, Boydton, VA. She was employed with Personal Homecare Inc. of South Hill, VA. Cherishing her memories are two children, Jayla M. Alexander of Boydton, VA and Jakai A. Simmons of Chase City, VA; her parents, Connell and Sherri Walker Roberts of Chase City, VA; one sister, Tia J. Roberts of Chase City, VA; maternal grandfather, James Walker of Chase City, VA; six aunts, three uncles, two great aunts and a vast number of other loving relatives and caring friends. Funeral services for Miss Tasha Jonelle Roberts will be conducted 1:00 P.M. Friday, March 7, 2008 at the chapel of Giles-Harris Funeral Home and Cremation Service, Chase City, VA with Rev. Waverly Brown Sr., officiating. Burial will follow in Thyne Memorial Presbyterian Church Cemetery, Chase City, VA. Arrangements are by Giles-Harris Funeral Home and Cremation Service, 1304 North Main Street, Chase City, VA.
