Susie Rebecca Hepburn White

Mrs. Susie Rebecca Hepburn White, 95, of Chase City, VA entered eternal rest on Sunday, March 19, 2023 at Heritage Hall, Blackstone, VA.

Mrs. White was born in Chase City, VA on September 23, 1927, to the late George and Elizabeth Hepburn. She received her early education in the schools of Mecklenburg County, VA, and was a member of Berean Baptist Church in Chase City. Mrs. White was a domestic worker, and worked at Jonbil, Inc. before relocating north. In her later years after retirement, she relocated back to Chase City. She loved traveling to visit her children.

In addition to her parents, she was preceded in death by her husband, Milton White; son, William Louis White, daughter, Edna Garnett White Everett, and eleven siblings.

She leaves to cherish her memories her children, Bertha Womack (Rev. Dr. John) of Polk City, FL, John Tyree White of Chase City, VA, Melvin Jerry White of Midwest City, OK; ten grandchildren, a host of great-grandchildren; one sister, Alice Dunn of New Jersey; son-in-law, Willie Everett of Cartersville, GA, and a vast number of other loving relatives and caring friends.

Funeral services for Mrs. Susie Rebecca Hepburn White will be conducted 11:00 A.M. Saturday, April 1, 2023 at the chapel of Giles-Harris Funeral Home, Chase City, VA with Rev. Marvin Harris officiating. Burial will follow in Berean Baptist Church Cemetery, Chase City, VA. The family will receive friends on Saturday from 10:00 A.M. until 11:00 A.M.
