Steven Rodney Pulliam, Sr.

Mr. Steven Rodney Pulliam, Sr., 63, of Roanoke, VA entered eternal rest on Monday, September 11, 2023 at his residence.

Mr. Pulliam was born in Virginia on March 28, 1960 to Eleanor L. Boswell Pulliam and the late Powhatan Pulliam, Jr. He was a 1977 graduate of Bluestone Senior High School in Skipwith and attended Southside VA Community College in Keysville. Mr. Pulliam was a member of Calvary Baptist Church in Victoria, and was a veteran of the United States Navy.

In addition to his father, he was preceded in death by two brothers, Powhatan Pulliam, III and Carlton Edward Pulliam, Sr.

He leaves to cherish his loving memory two sons, Steven R. Pulliam, Jr. (Tonya) of Winston Salem, NC and Stephon Tillman of Atlanta, GA; daughter, Natasha Hart of Oxford, NC; twelve grandchildren; his mother, Eleanor L. Biggers of Chase City, VA; brother, Richard G. Pulliam (Denise) of Richmond, VA; aunt, Joyce Doggette; uncle, Robert Tucker, and a vast number of other loving relatives and caring friends.

A memorial service for Mr. Steven Rodney Pulliam, Sr. will be held at a later date.
