Steven Leon Marable

Mr. Steven Leon Marable, 45, of Richmond, VA and formerly of Chase City, VA entered eternal rest Monday, May 13, 2024 at Bon Secours Memorial Regional Hospital, Mechanicsville, VA.

Mr. Marable was born in South Boston, VA May 7, 1979 to the late James Larry and Joyce Burton Marable. He attended Bluestone Senior High School, Skipwith, VA. In his spare time, he enjoyed fixing cars and working on houses.

In addition to his father, Steven was preceded in death by his paternal grandparents, Jesse and Pearline Marable and his maternal grandfather, Harry Burton, Sr.

Cherishing his memories are his children, Raekwon Harris, Samya Marable and Steven Marable, Jr.; his mother, Joyce B. Marable; two sisters, Jillian Marable and Jennifer Marable; two brothers, Jamie Marable and Jonathan Burton; his maternal grandmother, Lucy Burton; a sister-in-law, Marty Burton and a vast number of other loving relatives and caring friends.

A viewing for Mr. Steven L. Marable will be held Sunday, May 19, 2024 at Giles-Harris Funeral Home and Cremation Service, Chase City, VA from 2:00 PM until 6:00 PM. Interment will be private.
