Mrs. Stephanie Denise Walker Pulliam, 44, of Skipwith, VA entered eternal rest Thursday, July 27, 2006 ay Halifax Regional Hospital, South Boston, VA. Mrs. Pulliam was born in Skipwith, VA, May 12, 1962 to James and the late Barbara Lyons Walker. She attended the Mecklenburg County Schools, and was formerly an employee of Jones Apparel, South Hill, VA. She was a member of Rocky Mount Baptist Church, Skipwith, VA. Cherishing her memories are three sons, Carlton E. Pulliam Jr. of Skipwith, VA, Spc. Antwan D. Pulliam of Fort Stewart, GA, LCPL Lamar J. Pulliam of Okinawa, Japan; one daughter, Shermir S. Pulliam of Skipwith, VA; one grandson, Ke’Anzae Elijha Isiah Pulliam; her father, James A. Walker of New Jersey; three sisters, Sherri Roberts (Connell), Wanda Smith (Mark) all of Chase City, VA and Lisa Stacey (Mike) of Maryland; one adopted sister, Frances Mitchell of Skipwith, VA; one brother, Daryl Walker of New Jersey; two aunts, Mary Lindo of Chase City, VA, and Marlene Hardy of Skipwith, VA; one uncle, Harvey Lee Wright of Baltimore, MD; one great aunt, Nettie L. Mitchell of Skipwith, VA; six nieces, three nephews, one great niece, one great nephew a godson Raheem Green and a vast number of other loving relatives and caring friends. Funeral services for Mrs. Stephanie Denise Walker Pulliam will be conducted 1:00 P.M. Sunday, July 30, 2006 at Rocky Mount Baptist Church, Skipwith, VA with Rev. George Baskerville, officiating. Burial will follow in the church cemetery.  Arrangements are by Giles-Harris Funeral Home and Cremation Service, 1304 North Main St., Chase City, VA.
