Stella Louise Cole Hall

Ms. Stella Louise Cole Hall, 73, of Washington, DC entered eternal rest on Friday February 25, 2022. Ms. Hall was born in Mecklenburg County, VA on April 30, 1948 to the late Inez Cole and Samuel Cole. She attended Mecklenburg County public schools and graduated from West End High School, Class of 1966. Mrs. Hall attended UDC earning a Bachelor’s Degree and attended American University earning a Master’s Degree. She worked for Housing and Urban Development for over 37 years, retiring as a Grand Specialist Supervisor in 2004. Mrs. Hall was an active member in her church, Central Baptist Church of Camp Springs, as well as an active member in her community. She was a member of the Dupont Park Civic Association in which she held many positions to include corresponding secretary and treasurer. Additionally, she was a member of the West End High School National Alumni Association. She leaves to cherish her loving memory one son: Charles O. Hall II (Rokhaya) of Washington, DC; seven brothers and sisters: Gilbert Baptist, Floyd Baptist, Clyde Baptist, Christine White, Earnestine Gates, Randolph Cole and Belinda Miller; one goddaughter: Deonna Glass, a host of nieces and nephews, and a vast number of other loving relatives and caring friends. Graveside services for Ms. Stella Louise Cole Hall will be conducted 12:00 Noon Saturday, March 5, 2022 at St. John Baptist Church Cemetery, Buffalo Junction, VA with Pastor DeMario Covington officiating. Public viewing for family and friends will be held on Saturday from 10:00 A.M. until 11:30 A.M. at the funeral home. Arrangements are by C. H. Harris Funeral Home and Cremation Service, Clarksville, VA.
