Stafford Maurice Royster

Mr. Stafford Maurice Royster, 39, of Henderson, NC entered eternal rest Sunday, May 18, 2008 at his residence.  Mr. Royster was born October 2, 1968 in Halifax County, VA to the late Lewis Royster and Erma Lee Pettaway. He was a 1987 graduate of J.F. Webb High School, Oxford, NC and a member of Cedar Grove Baptist Church #2, Clarksville, VA.  Cherishing his memories is his mother Erma L. Pettaway, of Clarksville, VA; one sister, Ivy Royster of Butner, NC; three brothers, Lewis W. Royster (Laverne) of Gilbert AZ, Dwight A. Royster (Annie) of Stone Mountain, GA, and Larry D. Royster (Camilla) of Snellville, GA; three great aunts, Mary V. Royster of Oxford, NC, Katie Royster of Hackensack, NJ and Dorothy Daniel of Stovall, NC; one nephew, eight nieces and a vast number of other loving relatives and caring friends.  Funeral services for Mr. Stafford Maurice Royster will be conducted 1:00 P.M. Saturday, May 24, 2008 at Cedar Grove Baptist Church #2, Clarksville, VA with Rev. Cornelius Ogburn, officiating. Burial will follow in the church cemetery.  Arrangements are by C.H. Harris Funeral Home and Cremation Service, 216 4th Street, Clarksville, VA.
