Sonia Reana Scott

Miss Sonia Reana Scott, 35, of Rice, VA entered eternal rest Monday, February 2, 2015 at Centra Southside Community Hospital, Farmville, VA. Miss Scott was born in South Boston, VA February 25, 1979 to Willie F. Scott Sr. and Rev. Vernell Greene Scott. She was a 1997 graduate of Randolph-Henry High School, Charlotte Court House, VA and a member of Zion Hill Baptist Church, Farmville, VA. Miss Scott was preceded in death by her maternal grandparents and her paternal grandfather. Cherishing her memories are her parents, Willie F. Scott Sr. (Gloria) of Chase City, VA and Rev. Vernell G. Scott of Rice, VA; two sisters, LaTonia Lawrence of Keysville, VA and April Vaughan (Kenneth) of Pamplin, VA; one brother, SGT. Willie Scott Jr. (Keisha) of Fort Eustis, VA; paternal grandmother, Lillie Scott of Saxe, VA; 14 aunts, 12 uncles and a vast number of other loving relatives and caring friends. Funeral services for Miss Sonia Reana Scott will be conducted 1:00 P.M. Saturday, February 7, 2015 at Piney Grove Baptist Church, Saxe, VA with her mother, Rev. Vernell Scott delivering the eulogy. Burial will follow in the church cemetery. Arrangements are by Giles-Harris Funeral Home and Cremation Service, Chase City, VA.  Services 1:00 P.M.
