Sarah B. Baskerville

Miss Sarah Bell Baskerville, 72, of Boydton, VA entered eternal rest Wednesday, Dec. 2, 2009 at her residence.   Miss Baskerville was born in Boydton, VA March 29, 1937 to the late McCoy and Lucy Goode Baskerville. She attended the schools of Mecklenburg County, VA and was a member of Bibleway Church of Christ, Boydton, VA. She was a former employee of Lake Sleepwear and Ridge Grocery. In addition to her parents Miss Baskerville was preceded in death by her daughter, Catherine Baskerville, one sister, Henrietta Alexander, three brothers, Robert, Willie and James Baskerville. Cherishing her memories are two grandchildren, Sherwood Baskerville (Kathy) of South Hill, VA and Tasha Baskerville of Boydton, VA; four great-grandchildren, Zykor White, Tiarra Baskerville, Sherwood Baskerville II and Katarah Baskerville; two sisters, Christine Swann (John) of East Orange, NJ and Mary Ann Moore of Newark, NY; one brother, McKinley Baskerville (Shelia) of Boydton, VA and a vast number of other loving relatives and caring friends. Funeral services for Miss Sarah Bell Baskerville will be conducted 12:00 Noon Saturday, Dec. 5, 2009 at Bibleway Church of Christ, Boydton, VA with Rev. Kevin Flowers delivering the eulogy. Burial will follow in Mount Pleasant Baptist Church Cemetery. Arrangements are by C.H. Harris Funeral Home and Cremation Service, Clarksville, VA.
