Samuel Lee Mcfail, Jr.

Mr. Samuel Lee McFail, Jr., 29, of Richmond, VA entered eternal rest Thursday, December 5, 2013 in Richmond. Mr. McFail was born in Cleveland, OH March 28, 1984 to the late Samuel Lee Bell and Bernice L. McFail.  He was a graduate of Powhatan High School, where he played football and basketball.  He was presently employed at S. P. Kinney Engineers, Inc. in Chesterfield, VA, where he worked for over six years. In addition to his parents, he was preceded in death by his Maternal grandmother, Leeolia Staten-Swann and two aunts, Pamela Nivens and Yolanda Claiborne. Cherishing his memories are three sisters, Yolanda Kersey (Javon) of Richmond, VA, Monique McFail and LaDonna McFail both of Las Vegas, NV; two brothers, Maximillian McFail (Monique) of Richmond, VA and Curtis Moore of Cleveland, OH; five aunts, Lenora Creasy (Dwayne), Madeline Gregory (Lawrence), Catherine Bell-Anglen (Kenneth), Arnetta Bell and Irene R. Bell; three uncles, William McFail (Joyce), Archie Nivens (Sheila) and Robert Lee Bell; Paternal grandmother, Irene Bell-Perry (George) of Cleveland, OH; Maternal grandfather, Albert McFail of Durham, NC and vast number of other loving relatives and caring friends. Funeral services for Mr. Samuel Lee McFail, Jr. will be conducted 2:00 P. M. Saturday, December  14, 2013 at the chapel of Giles-Harris Funeral Home and Cremation Service, Chase City, VA with Rev. Marvin Harris, officiating.  Burial will follow at First Baptist Church Cemetery, Drakes Branch, VA.  Viewing for family and friends will be Saturday from 10:00 A.M. until service time.
