Sadie Lee Marrow

Mrs. Sadie Lee Small Marrow, 83, of Nelson, VA entered eternal rest Friday, October 21, 2016 at her residence. Mrs. Marrow was born in Mecklenburg County, VA May 19, 1933 to the late Samuel H. and Sophia Alice Venable Small. She attended Mount Ararat School and at an early age joined Island Hill United Church of Christ. In addition to her parents, Mrs. Marrow was preceded in death by her husband, James Plummer Marrow Sr., one sister, one brother, and three grandsons. Cherishing her memories are two daughters, Queen Terry of Buffalo Junction, VA and Tenia McBee of Nelson, VA; two sons, James Small (Shirley) of Nelson, VA and Ronnie Marrow (Nikkie) of Clarksville, VA; 26 grandchildren, 12 great grandchildren; five sisters, Cleo Marrow of Bridgeport, Ct, Gereline Small and Lucille Reed both of White Plains, NY, Corine Hayes and Edith Terry of Buffalo Junction, VA; one brother, Donald Small (Barbara) of Nelson, VA and a vast number of other loving relatives and caring friends. Funeral services for Mrs. Marrow will be conducted 2:00 P.M. Friday, October 28, 2016 at the chapel of C.H. Harris Funeral Home and Cremation Service with Rev. James A. Hudson Jr., officiating. Burial will follow in the Marrow & Small Family Cemetery, Nelson, VA. Public viewing for family and friends will be held Thursday from 10:00 A.M. until 7:00 P.M. Arrangements are by C.H.
