Ruby Lee Bullock

Mrs. Ruby Lee Bullock, 80 of Chase City, VA entered eternal rest Monday, November 9, 2015 at Chase City Health and Rehabilitation, Chase City, VA. Mrs. Bullock was born in Mecklenburg County, VA May 23, 1935 to the late Jessie and Rachel Tunstall Goode. She attended the schools of Mecklenburg County, VA and was employed by Craddock Terry Shoe Factory and Farmers Tobacco Warehouse in Chase City for many years. She was a member of Silone Baptist Church. In addition to her parents,  Mrs.. Bullock was preceded in death by her husband, William Bullock; sisters, Jean Smith and JoAnn Kersey; son, Larry Smith; daughters, Martha Boyd and Ester Smith; grandchildren Adriane and Joe Jr. Cherishing her memories are four children, Ruby Dailey of Chase City, VA, Mary Alice Smith of Richmond, VA, John Smith (Fran) of Wadesboro, NC and Rayvon Smith (Beth) of Glastonbury, CT; nine grandchildren, Brenda Small, Patrese Smith, Nathaniel Smith, Jerry Smith, Dateshia Smith, Jermaine Smith, Andre Smith, Patrina Dailey and Tajmon Dailey; 27 great grandchildren, one great-great grandchild; one brother, Raymond Goode of Drakes Branch, VA;  one sister, Barbara Hepburn of Chase City, VA and a vast number of other loving relatives and caring friends. Funeral services for Mrs. Ruby Lee Bullock will be conducted 11:00 A.M. Saturday, November 14, 2015 at Silone Baptist Church, Chase City, VA with Rev. Melvin J. Palmer officiating. Burial will follow in Silone Memorial Garden, Chase City, VA. Public viewing for family and friends will be Friday from 10:00 A.M. until 7:00 P.M. Arrangements are by Giles-Harris Funeral Home and Cremation Service, Chase City, VA.  Services 11:00 A.M.
