Roxie O. Daniel

Mrs. Roxie Owen Daniel, 88, of Buffalo Junction, VA entered eternal rest on Wednesday, May 4, 2022 at Clarksville Health and Rehabilitation. Mrs. Daniel was born in Clarksville, VA December 11, 1933 to the late Russell B. and Willie Lewis Owen. She attended the schools of Mecklenburg County, VA and at an early age joined Mount Zion Baptist Church. She was employed by the Office of Personnel Management in Washington, DC for over 35 years before retiring. Roxie had a love for Scottish Terriers and loved working in her garden and talking to her best friend Margie about The Young and the Restless. In addition to her parents, Roxie was preceded in death by her husband of over 50 years, Alvin Daniel, and her grandson, William J. Bernard. She leaves to cherish her memories her daughter, Suzanne P. Daniel-Fagin and husband; a great-grandson; devoted friends, Reggie Arrington, Ann Goode, Preston Yancey, Grey Walker and a vast number of other loving relatives and caring friends. Graveside services will be conducted 12:00 Noon Tuesday, May 10, 2022 at Saint Mark Baptist Church Cemetery, Buffalo Junction, VA with Rev. Darrell Howard, officiating. Arrangements are by C.H. Harris Funeral Home and Cremation Service, Clarksville, VA.
