Rose Ida Boyd

Miss Rose Ida Boyd, 84 of Chase City, VA entered eternal rest Sunday, Nov. 16, 2014 at Chase City Nursing and Rehabilitation, Chase City, VA. Miss Boyd was born in Mecklenburg County, VA October 3, 1930 to the late Cleveland Boyd and Jinnie Ramsey. She attended the schools of Mecklenburg County, VA and was a homemaker. She was member of Shiloh Baptist Church, Boydton, VA. In addition to her parents, Miss Boyd was preceded in death by a grandson, Washington Boyd and her son-in-law, James Edward Logan who passed the same day. Cherishing her memories are one daughter, Gracie Logan of Boydton, VA; two granddaughters, Pamela and Janet Davis both of Maryland, nine great-grandchildren, one great-grandchild and a vast number of other loving relatives and caring friends. Funeral services for Miss Rose Ida Boyd will be conducted 12:00 Noon Saturday, November 22, 2014 at the chapel of C.H. Harris Funeral Home and Cremation Service, Buffalo Junction. Burial will follow in Shiloh Baptist Church Cemetery, Boydton, VA. Public viewing for family and friends, Friday  10:00 A.M. until 7:00 P.M. at the funeral home. Arrangements are by C.H.
