Rosa Belinda Toombs

Ms. Rosa Belinda Toombs, 41, of Chase City, VA entered eternal rest Sunday, March 10, 2013 at VCU/MCV Medical Center, Richmond, VA. Ms. Toombs was born in Mecklenburg County, VA June 11, 1971 to the late Doris Lavern Toombs and the late Robert Jones. She received her education in Mecklenburg County Public Schools. For many years she was a faithful employee of Jones Apparel Group, presently she was employed by Global Textiles of South Hill, VA (Narricot). In addition to her parents she was preceded in death by her brother, Ronnie Lee Toombs. Cherishing her memories are two daughters, Tiffany Shavon Terry and Tricia Renee Terry of Chase City, VA; two step-sons, Kenneth Talley and Kevin Talley of Philadelphia, PA; her maternal grandmother, Jurline Tucker-Toombs of Chase City, VA; one brother, Corey Jones of Philadelphia, PA; three sisters, Rosalind Jones of Philadelphia, PA, Robin Jones and Jasmine Jones of Baltimore, MD;  a devoted friend Kenneth Jones of South Hill, VA and a vast number of other loving relatives and caring friends. Funeral services for Ms. Rosa Belinda Toombs will be conducted 2:00 P.M. Saturday, March 16, 2013 at the chapel of Giles-Harris Funeral Home and Cremation Service, Chase City, VA with Rev. Reginald Dodson, officiating. Burial will follow in Thyne Memorial Presbyterian Church Cemetery. The family will receive friends Friday evening from 6 until 7 P.M. at the funeral home. Arrangements are by Giles-Harris Funeral Home and Cremation Service, Chase City, VA. Service     2:00 P.M.
