Rorcie Jerell Terry

Mr. Rorcie Jerell “Rock” Terry, 34, of Skipwith, VA entered eternal rest Friday, May 2, 2014 at Halifax Regional Hospital, South Boston, VA. Mr. Terry was born in Mecklenburg County May 22, 1979 to Roy L. Johnson and Patsy J. Small.  At an early age he joined Salem Baptist Church, Red Oak, VA  and was a 1997 graduate of Bluestone Senior High School, Skipwith, VA.  He was formerly employed by Howerton Antique Furniture and a self-employed Auto Body painter. He was preceded in death by his grandmother, Catherine McBee; grandfather, James Terry, Sr.; one aunt, Ava Johnson and one uncle, James Terry, Jr. Cherishing his memories are his fiancée, Miss Feliecia Marrow, three children, Aaron Flynn, Rocia Terry and Shynisha Walker; his parents; Roy L. Johnson (Donnie) of Clarksville, VA and Patsy J. Small of Skipwith, VA; five sisters, Cassandra Johnson, Vanessa Crawley, Whitney Johnson, Radisha Jefferson and Shina Terry; maternal grandmother, Octavia  Alexander (Edmund) of Skipwith, VA; three uncles; three aunts;  three nephews and a vast number of other cousins, loving relatives and caring friends. Funeral Services for Mr. Rorcie Jerell  “Rock” Terry will be conducted 2:00 P.M. Saturday, May 10, 2014 at The House of Prayer, Buffalo Junction, VA with Rev. Tootie Lyons delivering the eulogy.  Burial will be private.    Public viewing for family and friends will be held on Friday from 10:00 A.M. until 7:00 P.M. Arrangements are by C. H.
