Robert Manson Stevenson

Mr. Robert Manson Stevenson, 53, of Boydton, VA died on Wednesday, May 10, 2023 at VCU Health Community Memorial Hospital in South Hill, VA.

Mr. Stevenson was born on August 2, 1969 in South Hill, VA. He was a 1988 graduate of Bluestone High School in Skipwith, VA. Mr. Stevenson had a love of music and entertaining. He was a talented lyricist and music maker. He also enjoyed caring for his fish pond and aquarium.

Mr. Stevenson was preceded in death by his father, George Stevenson, II.

He leaves to cherish his memory his mother, Joann Macklin Stevenson of Boydton, VA; two children, Brittany Stevenson of Chesterfield, VA and Tahjmon Dailey of Chase City, VA; one grandson, Kaiden Andrews; one brother, George Stevenson, III (Clarissa) of Boydton, VA; two sisters, Jolanda Stevenson of Boydton, VA and Roslyn Salley (Tim) of South Hill, VA, three nieces, four nephews and a vast number of other loving relatives and caring friends.

Funeral services for Mr. Robert M. Stevenson will be conducted 2:30 P.M. Saturday, May 13, 2023 at the chapel of Giles-Harris Funeral Home, Chase City, VA with Brother Perry Greene delivering the message. Interment will be private. Public viewing will begin on Saturday from 12:30 P.M. until 2:00 P.M.
