Robert M. Cheatham

Mr. Robert M. Cheatham, 82, of Chase City, VA entered eternal rest on Saturday, April 29, 2023 at Wayland Nursing and Rehabilitation Center, Keysville, VA.

Mr. Cheatham was born in Chase City, VA on April 16, 1941 to the late James and Hessie Mae Cheatham. He attended the public schools of Mecklenburg County, VA, and was a retired laborer.

In addition to his parents, Mr. Cheatham was preceded in death by two brothers, Eddie and Jimmy Cheatham, and three sisters, Ruth Johnson, Freida Washington and Rita Cheatham.

He leaves to cherish his loving memory one brother, Felix Cheatham of Chase City, VA; two sisters, Clara Jones of South Hill, VA and Jocile Bailey of Chase City, VA, and a vast number of other loving relatives and caring friends.

A memorial service for Mr. Robert M. Cheatham will be conducted 2:00 P.M. Saturday, May 27, 2023 at the chapel of Giles-Harris Funeral Home, Chase City, VA. with Rev. Raleigh M. Bagley, III officiating.
