Robert Lewis Richardson

Mr. Robert Lewis Richardson, 57, of Buffalo Jct. VA entered eternal rest on Friday, July 23, 2010 at his residence.   Mr. Richardson was born in Mecklenburg County October 4, 1952 to the late David and Mattie Cook Richardson.  He received his education in the Mecklenburg Schools, and was employed many years at Burlington Industries, as well as a truck driver.  He was a member of St. Matthew Baptist Church. Cherishing his memories are his mother, Mattie Richardson, of Clarksville; a daughter, Anita Roberts (Jermal) of Chase City; three grandchildren, Donivin, Jermal Jr., and Zavion; two sisters, Brenda Richardson of Newport News, and Linda Smith of Clarksville; a brother, Sherwood Richardson of Skipwith; two god daughters, Patrese Roberts of Chase City, and Tasha Clay of Clarksville; two devoted friends, William Pettaway and Donna Robinson both of Clarksville, and a vast number of other loving relatives and caring friends. Funeral services for Mr. Robert L. Richardson will be conducted 1:00 P.M. Thursday, July 29, 2010 at the chapel of C. H. Harris Funeral Home, with Rev. Delmar Harris officiating.  Burial will follow at the St. Matthew Baptist Church Cemetery.    Arrangements are by C. H. Harris Funeral Home and Cremation Service, Clarksville.
