Robert Lee Gregory

Mr. Robert Lee Gregory, 72, of East Orange, N.J and formerly of Skipwith, VA, entered eternal rest Thursday, April 24, 2014 at Saint Barnabas Medical Center, Livingston, NJ. Mr. Gregory was born in Skipwith, VA February 18, 1942 to the late Edward and Gracie Gregory, and at an early age he joined Rocky Mount Baptist Church. He was a veteran of the U.S. Army, and was a former employee of Hawks Trucking Co., Kearny, N.J. Cherishing his memories are his wife, Carrie Gregory; six children, Darlene Coleman, Theresa Reed, Leigha K. Grant, Daryl Lipscomb, Allan Watts, and James Watson; 19 grandchildren; eight great-grandchildren; one brother, Edward Gregory; five sisters;  Ardell Small, Annie B. Smith, Estelle Richards, Rosa B. Henry and Grace D. Brown and a vast number of other loving relatives and caring friends. Funeral services for Mr. Robert Lee Gregory will be conducted 1:00 P.M. Saturday, May 3, 2014 at Rocky Mount Baptist Church, Skipwith, VA with Rev. Willie L. Carter, Sr., officiating.  Burial will follow in the church cemetery.
