Dailey (Wookie), 59, of Chase City, VA entered eternal rest Wednesday, Dec. 5, 2007 at Halifax Regional Hospital, South Boston, VA.Mr. Dailey was born in Charlotte County, VA, April 7, 1948 to the late Leo and Pattie Lee Wilson Dailey. He was a member of Rocky Branch Baptist Church, Red Oak, VA and employed by Devin Logging.Cherishing his memory are five sisters, Doris Ann Boyd and Venus Dailey (Robert Boyd) all of Chase City, VA, Nannie Coleman (Ned) and Sally Boyd (Clyde Jr.) all of Wylliesburg, VA and Leola Robertson (Clarence) of Red Oak, VA; three brothers, Bylinda Dailey (Eldean) of Wylliesburg, VA, Leroy Dailey (Margaret) of Red Oak, VA and Wade Wilson of Drakes Branch, VA; Godchild, Christella Barnes and a host of aunts, uncles, nieces, nephews, other loving relatives and caring friends.Funeral services for Mr. Robert J. Dailey will be conducted 2:00 P.M. Saturday, Dec. 8, 2007 at the chapel of Giles-Harris Funeral Home and Cremation Service, Chase City, VA with Rev. Phillip Staten, officiating.
