Robert Edward Moore, Sr.

Mr. Robert Edward Moore, Sr., 66, of Boydton, VA entered eternal rest Saturday, November 1, 2014 at his residence. Mr. Moore was born in Mecklenburg County, VA February 15, 1948 to the late John and Luezellia Lee Moore.  He received his early education in the schools of Mecklenburg County and was formerly employed by Chariots of Fire Transportation Services, La Crosse, VA as a truck driver. Cherishing his memories are his wife, Rosetta B. Moore of Fayetteville, NC; two children, Rashida K. Moore and Robert E. Moore, Jr. both of Fayetteville, NC; four grandchildren; four sisters, Mamie Piercy of East Orange, NJ, Nancy Baskerville and Minister Virgie Jeffers (Fell) both of Boydton, VA and Evangelist Mable Payne (Donald) of Charlottesville, VA; one brother, Clarence Moore (Thelma) of Boydton, VA and a vast number of other loving relative and caring friends. A memorial service for Mr. Robert Edward Moore, Sr. will be held at a later date. Arrangements are by C. H. Harris Funeral Home and Cremation Service, Clarksville, VA.
