Robert Edward Lee

Mr. Robert Edward Lee, Jr., 79, of Buffalo Junction, VA entered  eternal rest  Friday, March 27, 2015 at his residence.  Mr. Lee was born in Mecklenburg County, VA September 15, 1935 to the late Robert Edward and Lucille Brooks Lee of Boydton, VA. In addition to his parents ,Mr. Lee  was preceded in death by his wife of 57 years, Annie Myrtle Lee; five sisters, Ella Mae Williams, Luzzille Harris, Grace Baptist, Lorraine McBee and Magdalene Moore; one brother, James M. Lee, and one son-in-law, James Perry. Cherishing his memories are seven children, Edward Curtis Lee (Alfredia) of Boydton, VA, Linda Dorene Lee of Bladensburg, MD, Frank Alfred Lee (Juanita) of Northern VA, Edna Mae Perry of Chesterfield, VA, Willie Carl Lee (Juanita) of Midlothian, VA, Teresa Lee-Small (Jerry) of Yorktown VA, and Betty L. Terry (Booker) of Germantown, MD; 15 grandchildren; 11 great grandchildren; two  brothers, Nathaniel Lee (Lucille) of Phillis, VA and Frank C. Lee (Catherine) of Highland Springs, VA; one sister, Octavia Terry (Willie) of Skipwith, VA; other sister/brothers-in-laws,  Herbert & Pearl Garner of Buffalo Junction, VA, Alfred & Edith Coleman of Raleigh, NC., Roger & Queen Coleman of Buffalo Junction, VA, Claire Lee of Buffalo Junction, VA; Joe McBee of Clarksville; and a vast number of other loving relatives and caring friends. Funeral services for Mr. Robert Edward Lee will be conducted 12:00 Noon Wednesday, April 1, 2015 at The House of Prayer, Buffalo Junction, VA with his son, Elder Frank A. Lee delivering the eulogy. Burial will follow in New Hope Baptist Church Cemetery, Boydton, VA. Public viewing for family and friends Tuesday from 10:00 A.M. until 7:00 P.M. Arrangements are by C.H.
