Robert Bradley

Mr. Robert Bradley, 65, of Drakes Branch, VA entered eternal rest Wednesday, February 2, 2011 at his residence. Mr. Bradley was born in Troy, NC June 19, 1945 to Maggie Horne Brown. He attended the schools of Montgomery County, NC, and was a member of New Saint Douglas Baptist Church, Boydton, VA. Mr. Bradley was the Bass guitarist for the Gospel LeAires of Kenbridge, VA and a former employee of Lee Industrial, Kenbridge, VA. Cherishing his memories are his devoted wife, Thelma A. Bradley of Drakes Branch, VA; six children, Tia Wilson (Nicholas) Jermaine Gregory and Tierra Gregory all of Richmond, VA, Laquanda and Shaquanda Gregory both of Chase City, VA and Deonandre Bradley of Drakes Branch, VA; four grandchildren; his mother, Maggie Brown of Bronx, NY; two brothers-in-law, four sisters-in-law and a vast number of other loving relatives and caring friends. Funeral services for Mr. Robert Bradley will be conducted 3:30 P.M. Saturday, February 5, 2011 at the chapel of Giles-Harris Funeral Home and Cremation Service, Chase City, VA with Rev. Chester Terry, officiating. Burial will follow in the New Saint Douglas Baptist Church Cemetery, Boydton, VA. The family will receive friends Friday evening from 6 until 7 P.M. at the funeral home. Arrangements are by Giles-Harris Funeral Home and Cremation Service, Chase City, VA.
