Robert (Bob) Bullock

Mr. Robert Thomas Bullock (Bob) 56, of Chase City, VA entered eternal rest Tuesday, April 1, 2008 at his residence.  Mr. Bullock was born in Mecklenburg County, VA Sept. 3, 1951 to the late Henry McFail and Jeanette Anderson. He attended the schools of Mecklenburg County, VA and was a member of Silone Baptist Church, Chase City, VA. He was a former employee of Southside Furniture, Chase City, VA.  Mr. Bullock was preceded in death by one brother, John Bullock and two sisters, Rose Oliver and Queen Freeman.  Cherishing his memories are his wife, Rita L. Bullock of Chase City, VA; one son, Eric Bullock of Chase City, VA; three daughters, Penny Staten  and Rose Bullock of Chase City, VA and Merry Bullock-Harrison (Sam) of Richmond, VA ; seven grandchildren, Porche’, O’von, Darion, Brion, Briana, Crystal, and Rosie; one sister, Bessie Moore of Chase City, VA; three brothers, Edward Bullock, Leroy Bullock and Melvin Anderson all of Chase City, VA; mother-in-law, Betty S. Mosley of Wylliesburg, VA; three sisters-in-law, four brothers-in-law; two god-daughters, Kelly Ward and Alyssa Ward and a vast number of other loving relatives and caring friends.  Funeral services for Mr. Robert Thomas Bullock will be conducted 2:00 P.M. Monday, April 7, 2008 at Silone Baptist Church, Chase City, VA with Rev. Phillip Staten officiating and Rev Melvin J. Palmer, assisting. Burial will follow in Silone Memorial Garden, Chase City, VA.  Arrangements are by Giles-Harris Funeral Home and Cremation Service 1304, North Main St. Chase City, VA.
