Regina Yvonne Watts

Miss. Regina Yvonne Watts, 59, of Chase City, VA entered eternal rest on Friday, September 29, 2023.

Miss Watts was born in Mecklenburg County, VA on August 29, 1964 to Robert and Josephine Watts. She received her early education in the public schools of Mecklenburg County, and graduated from Bluestone Senior High School in Skipwith. After high school, she enrolled in the military for a short time before gaining employment at Russell Stover Candies for many years before its closure. She then went on to work at Nipro Glass Americas for over 10 years until her early retirement. In her spare time, she enjoyed watching Sci-Fi thrillers, spending time with family, and going on evening walks with her daughter and grandson. Her favorite color was purple.

She leaves to cherish her memory her daughter, Shantel Wright (Keith); one grandson, Kobe Wright; her parents, Robert and Josephine Watts; two sisters, Jennifer Watts and Elanda Watts; one brother, Gary Watts (Linda); her life partner, Ricky Oliver; devoted friends, Tracey Staten (Donnie), and a host of aunts, uncles, other loving relatives and caring friends.

Funeral services for Miss Regina Yvonne Watts will be conducted 11:00 A.M. Saturday, October 7, 2023 at the chapel of Giles-Harris Funeral Home, Chase City, VA. Interment will be private.
